Patrick Soper, a locally renowned artist, created a mural for the St. Pius Elementary Dining Hall depicting the virtues of peace, gentleness, kindness, patience, self-control, joy, and generosity derived from pictures of student life here on our St. Pius Elementary campus. The pictures you see throughout the site are from the mural.
Additionally, Mr. Soper created a series of tableaux depicting the history of the Catholic Church. The ten tableaux which hang on the walls of the Saint Pius Elementary School Auditorium portray the two millennia of the history of the Catholic Church. Each tableau displays two centuries. The chronology begins on the right wall. The paintings done in acrylic-oils on canvas were illustrated by Mr. Soper between May 2000 and August 2001. They were donated unto the sacred memory of Joan “Chuch” Migues Blanchet. View the Tableaux. Pictures and text from: www.stpiusxchurch.net
