St. Pius Elementary School offers:
A three-year-old program which consists of two sections (one Tues.-Thurs class and one Mon-Wed-Fri class); each class has fifteen students
A Pre-K4 program which consists of four sections (full day classes); each class averages fifteen students
Kindergarten through eighth grade consisting of three classes per grade with 24 students per class

STANDARDIZED TESTS
The Office of Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Lafayette mandates that students are assessed utilizing standardized tests. All first through eighth grade students are assessed utilizing the Stanford Achievement Test - 10th edition, and the Otis-Lennon Ability Test. The Stanford Achievement Test measures students’ achievement in reading, mathematics, language, spelling, environment, social science, science and listening. The Otis-Lennon School Ability Test is an ability test that is designed to measure abstract thinking and reasoning ability.
