St. Pius Elementary School is dedicated to the Church’s mission to teach the Gospel and to proclaim that Jesus is Lord.  The entire staff seeks to foster the realization that God’s love makes each person in the school community priceless, and it believes that each is gifted with power and responsibility to nurture in others this same realization.  The mission of St. Pius also includes leading young minds to see the relevance of the Gospel in their daily lives.  It is this integration of religious truth and values with life which distinguishes the Catholic school from other schools.

            The way we came to know love was that he laid down his life for us; so we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.  If someone who has worldly means sees a brother in need and refuses him compassion, how can the love of God remain in him?
