The SPES PTO consists of the entire parent base of the school.  Yes, each and every parent of our students is considered a member of our parent organization.  The St. Pius Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is blessed with enthusiastic volunteers.  Our parent volunteers join us in living the mission of the school by "bringing the presence of Christ to others" through their involvement in, and sponsorship of, a myriad of school activities.  All parents and grandparents are welcomed to play an active part in their children's/grandchildren's lives by participating in any, or all, of the SPES PTO's functions.

Each year the PTO sponsors "Breakfasts with the Principal" that help to welcome families to St. Pius Elementary School and educate them in THE SPES WAY.  These gatherings to meet with SPES Leadership provide both new and returning parents opportunities to learn more about the many programs and methodologies used in the classrooms.

With family at the heart of our school, the SPES PTO plays a key role in welcoming new families to the school at Back to School Nights and a New Family Session in August.  They host the annual fall Grandparent Days and organize our SPES FAMILY DAY each fall that brings SPES families together for a day of fun and fellowship.

As St. Pius Elementary School continues to remain cognizant of the sacrifices parents make to give their children a Catholic education and keep tuition at an affordable rate, the SPES PTO conducts several on-going campaigns and sponsors several fundraisers during the year to fill the gap between what parents pay in tuition and what it really costs to educate a student at St. Pius Elementary School.  PTO on-going campaigns and fundraisers and THE SPES FUND annual giving campaign are responsible for "spanning the gap" which exceeds $700 per child.

If you are interested in supporting St. Pius Elementary School through sponsorships or participation in any of our PTO events or functions, please contact Jamie Nelson-Hebert, Director of Advancement, at
