St. Pius Elementary School is approved by the State of Louisiana Board of Education, serves as a member of the National Catholic Education Association and the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and possesses accreditation through Lumen Accreditation, offered through The Catholic University of America. Lumen Accreditation advances and promotes the distinctive excellence of P-12 Catholic school education. Guided by Christ and illuminated by the Church’s rich educational heritage, Luman accompanies Catholic school communities as they strive for continuous growth in fulfilling their mission. St. Pius Elementary School, Centered in the Eucharist and upholding its mission of “Bringing the Presence of Christ to Others,” serves over 480 families and 690 students.
