Welcome from our Principal
Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to St. Pius Elementary School! As the principal, it is an honor to lead our community in fostering a nurturing environment where every child can grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Here at St. Pius, we firmly believe in the profound impact of a Catholic education. It goes beyond academics; it encompasses values, faith, and a sense of purpose. Our commitment to instilling Catholic principles in our curriculum and daily interactions is at the heart of everything we do. Through prayer, service, and the sacraments, we aim to nurture a deep connection with God and each other, fostering a sense of community and compassion.
Our motto, "Bringing the presence of Christ to others," serves as our guiding light. It reminds us of our mission to emulate Christ's love, kindness, and humility in all aspects of our lives. Through our words, actions, and deeds, we strive to be ambassadors of Christ, spreading His love and teachings to everyone we encounter.
At St. Pius, we are dedicated to teaching the whole child. This means addressing not just academic needs but also spiritual, emotional, and social growth. We understand that each student is unique, with individual strengths and aspirations. Our holistic approach to education ensures that every child receives the support, encouragement, and resources they need to thrive and reach their full potential.
Whether you're just starting your journey with us or have been a part of our school community for years, I encourage you to get involved. We cherish our family-oriented culture here at St. Pius and would not be where we are today without parent participation. From volunteering on the PTO, attending school events, engaging in meaningful conversations, or coaching a volleyball team, your active involvement strengthens the bond that makes our school family so special.
I look forward to a rewarding and enriching year ahead, filled with learning, growth, and blessings for all. Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education and spiritual development.
May God's grace and blessings be with each of you.
God Bless,
Kellie DesOrmeaux
