Track and Field
The St Pius Track and Field program had another successful year this year. Our teams achieved 2nd place finishes in the championship for both our 5th and 6th grade and 7th and 8th grade boys’ teams. Several students not only broke existing school records but also set new ones. Whether your child enjoys throwing shot put and discus, jumping hurdles, or running relays, we encourage them to join our team. Track activities improve coordination, agility, and motor skills through varied events like running, jumping, and throwing. Beyond physical benefits, track fosters important life skills such as discipline, perseverance, and goal-setting, as students work to improve their personal bests. Being part of the St. Pius track team encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and social interaction, helping children build friendships and learn how to support one another.
