The SPES PTO consists of the entire parent base of the school.  Yes, each and every St. Pius parent is considered a member of our parent organization.  The St. Pius Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is blessed with enthusiastic volunteers.  Our parent volunteers join us in living the mission of the school by "bringing the presence of Christ to others" through their involvement in, and sponsorship of, many school activities.  All parents and grandparents are welcomed to play an active part in their children's/grandchildren's lives by participating in SPES PTO functions.

With family at the heart of our school, the SPES PTO plays a key role in welcoming new families to the school at Back to School Nights and a New Family Session in August.  After welcoming newcomers to our SPES Family, PTO members play a major role in involving all parents in the promotion of school spirit, especially at Homecoming time!  Decorating the school, helping plan spirit dress days,  assisting with the Homecoming Pep Rally and serving faculty, staff and alumni dinner before the Homecoming Game are only a few areas in which PTO gets involved.  Attend any athletic event and you will not only see, but hear, our SPES parents cheering for our Mighty Cougars.

The organization sponsors the SPES Family Fun Day each fall which brings families together for a day of fun and fellowship.  SPES PTO members also serve as hosts and hostesses for our annual Grandparent Days, scheduled this year for November 8th and 9th.

As St. Pius Elementary School continues to remain cognizant of the sacrifices parents make to give their children a Catholic education and keep tuition at an affordable rate, the SPES PTO conducts several on-going campaigns and sponsors several fundraisers during the year to help keep tuition affordable for all those interested in having their children attend St. Pius Elementary School.

If you are interested in supporting St. Pius Elementary School through sponsorships or participation in any of our PTO events or functions, please contact Jamie Nelson-Hebert, Director of Advancement, at
