2017-2018 SPNN Broadcasts

The St. Pius News Network began in August 2017.  Affectionately known as SPNN, the crew comprised of the Video Production class of 7th graders and the Video Broadcasting class of 8th graders.  In these electives, students learn how to produce, star in, and edit videos.  They use various digital tools to collaborate with one another on segment ideas and write scripts.  Occasionally, they spotlight different classes or people around campus.  Once inside the "studio" they set up lighting, microphones, the teleprompter and the camera and perform and film their broadcast.  From there, they edit different segments using video editing software.

We are excited to once again have a Video Broadcasting class with a new SPNN Crew for the 2018-2019 school year!  To view past episodes of SPNN, click on the links to the left.  We look forward to bringing you a new series of episodes this year!
