St. Pius Elementary School gives students the opportunity to grow spiritually and academically, while fostering character-building traits such as sportsmanship, humility, and commitment through extra-curricular activities, service opportunities, and athletic competition. Your donation to our Annual Giving Fund directly supports the programs, materials, infrastructure, and technology that are essential to providing an environment that builds confident learners who are equipped with the tools necessary to take on the challenges of the 21st Century. Donations immediately impact students by funding classroom and lab resources, technology upgrades, musical theater costumes, athletic equipment, field studies, retreats, and continuing education for our amazing faculty. No amount of generosity goes unnoticed. Every contribution helps to enhance the resources students need to grow and thrive throughout their time at St. Pius.
The St. Pius dining hall not only serves as a space where students can enjoy wholesome, nourishing lunches, but also as a gathering area for extra-curricular organizations and school community functions. As with all things that wear with great use, it’s time to make some enhancements to our dining hall. We’ve chosen to allocate the first $40,000 of our Annual Giving Fund, along with funds received through the iGive Catholic campaign, to this project. Enhancements to the dining hall will include purchasing 16 round tables and 150 chairs to replace some of the rectangle tables, installing six new fire doors, and updating the aesthetics to the walls surrounding our beautiful mural. With your help, we can update our dining hall in a way that meets the needs of our school community while providing a more social environment for students to enjoy lunch with classmates.
