Assuring each individual student's academic growth and success is the primary focus at St. Pius Elementary School.

The St. Pius classroom is one that offers a rigorous curriculum that encourages development of critical thinking and reasoning skills.  The curriculum and instruction is aligned to national standards which meet and often exceed the highest standards in education. Technology is used in conjunction with some of the more traditional "paper and pen" teaching methods along with dynamic, hands-on methodologies that encourage creativity.

Programs, Instruction and monitoring of individual student data support and encourage individual growth of students across all grade levels. We utilize research-based strategies and instructional resources geared toward developing a strong foundation, critical thinking, and reasoning skills.  Our goal is to help our students discover and develop their gifts and help them feel fully prepared to not only succeed, but thrive, when they leave St. Pius.
